Matt Blair, the photographer, is in another world when you see his work. Nature is nature - cold below zero days, hot boiling days, as I trek over the world to explore the immense beauty of the planet.

My style is self-taught starting in the old film days, using negatives and slides, and now with new digital technology. From my first Canon F1 and Hasslblad cameras, with which I used to practice on my family and friends and former Vikings teammates, to the new digital camera I operate today. There are endless ways to approach taking photos.

I'm passionate about photography. And I feel I am at peace with nature. When I point and shoot, I've captured a moment of time to share through my photographs.

I love to travel and take photographs. Driving is the best, as I'll pull the car over in a second and go back to the angle at which my mind captured the photo. Anytime. Anywhere.
